Mr. Fry on Off-Broadway!
On January 31st, Mr. Fry closed Mister Fry at the Comic Strip Live Theater. They are the longest living, most successful comedy club in the country. Mr. Fry
was the first theatrical one-man show done in this type of venue. It was a raging success, so much that they extended him an extra month in January.
They have decided to extend their format to include live theater bringing in the top solo shows in the country, in addition to their standard stand-up format. They built a larger stage, and added to their lighting and theatrical capabilities. They have asked Mister Fry to open their season and to pioneer the effort!
Opening night on Friday November 6th was an historical event not only for
Mister Fry, but for the club, (now theater!) itself.
